Studio Coordinator position information

An individual who is a Visual Artist, and/or Art Appreciator, with business office experience including computer-based experience with office software, is the ideal candidate.

The MAG is expanding, requiring the addition of a Studio Coordinator with business office experience to manage the Studio and related office tasks.  New Art programs are being implemented, Grants are being applied for, and processes to manage the grants are being put in place, all requiring business office experience.  

The focus of this position is to

1) make the MAG available to the members & public more hours/week,

2) represent the MAG to visitors including processing Sales, answering questions including membership questions, maintain membership database, maintain routine website, cleaning, and

3) perform tasks requested by Board of Directors and Treasurer, such as Grant Tracking/Reporting.

Preferred Skills         

Increased levels of responsibility in prior positions to demonstrate ability to keep the Muskogee Art Guild premises safe & presentable.  

Customer Service abilities to visitors and the Artists.

Responsive to questions and to artists requests         

Maintain Gallery Agreements binder.      

Follow Host Procedures, including Sales Process, receipts tracking.        

Computer skills, including MS products, website data maintenance & a Shared drive.  

Assist Board of Directors and Treasurer as requested, for instance Grant Tracking/Reporting. 

Rate    

Independent Contractor with periodic performance reviews.

Hourly Rate will be dependent on how many skills and alignment with the job description, $18/hr 

T, W, Fr 10a-3pm (Lunch,.5 hr)  with flexible hours on occasion for event weeks or when classes are hosted in the evenings.
