I had the piece pictured [left] accepted into a big-time show, The 2022 International Society of Scratchboard Artists annual show and sale held in Bradenton, Florida. My husband and I flew down for the show and related conference and I met many of my scratchboard heroes. It was absolutely breathtaking to see the Manatee Art Center gallery filled with scratchboards. It was inspiring and challenged me to continue to try to up my game. I’m currently waiting to see if I will get into the 2023 show. I’ll let you know!
This weekend[July 2023] I will be in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, at the Art on the Border art festival. There will be 75 artists displaying their work. Google Art on the Border or look for it on Facebook for more information!
